Fix & Flow Plumbing was dispatched to an Airbnb rental property after the tankless water heater stopped functioning. The homeowner noted that a previous plumbing company had inspected the unit and disassembled the gas valve wiring harness but had not returned to complete the repair.
Upon inspection, technician Bryan Hibbard confirmed the wiring harness at the gas valve was disconnected, preventing the unit from operating. With homeowner approval, we supplied and installed the correct replacement harness, rewired the connections, and reassembled the gas valve assembly. The unit restarted successfully and operated without error codes.
While on site, we also performed a complete tankless maintenance service, including descaling the heat exchanger, cleaning the spark rod, inspecting venting, and performing a full internal inspection. After service, the unit was test-fired and hot water was verified at multiple fixtures throughout the property.
The Result: The tankless water heater was fully restored to normal operation, providing consistent hot water throughout the home. With the wiring repair completed and the system professionally serviced, the Airbnb property is now equipped with a reliable, efficient hot water system for guests and future use.
