At Colony House Condominiums in Midtown Atlanta, a critical hot water pump system leak threatened to escalate into a major infrastructure failure. Fix & Flow Plumbing was brought in to diagnose and resolve the issue. Our experienced technicians replaced a severely corroded pipe during a coordinated water shutdown, restoring safe and reliable operation to the building’s hot water system.
Fix & Flow was called to investigate a leak in the mechanical room at Colony House Condominiums. Our inspection revealed a severely corroded section of pipe connected to the building’s hot water pump system—an issue that, if left unchecked, could have caused a major failure.
To ensure minimal disruption, the repair was scheduled during a building-wide water shutdown on Thursday, August 1st.
On the day of the repair, our technicians Michaell Lamb and Ben Silis safely shut down and drained the system, and removed the failing pipe. They replaced the corroded section all the way from the pump to the shut-off valve. Once complete, the system was carefully re-pressurized and tested to confirm full functionality.
The compromised pipe has been replaced with durable new materials, eliminating the leak and restoring confidence in the hot water system. The building’s infrastructure is now operating smoothly and securely – ensuring consistent service for tenants while preventing costly water damage and downtime.
