Fix & Flow Plumbing was called out to perform routine service on a tankless water heater and to investigate a leak beneath a bar sink.
Technician Michael Lamb’s inspection revealed that the leak originated at the P-trap assembly due to a cross-threaded connection, which allowed water to escape at the union. With client approval, our team removed the damaged assembly, cleaned and prepped the piping, and installed a new P-trap with properly aligned, sealed connections. Extended testing confirmed the repair was watertight and fully functional.
The unit was safely shut down, isolated, and flushed with descaling solution to remove mineral buildup from the heat exchanger. Inline water filters were cleaned, and the burner, ignition, and venting systems were inspected for safety and efficiency. After reassembly, the system was test-fired, calibrated, and verified to be running at proper temperature, pressure, and flow with no error codes.
The Result: The bar sink is now leak-free with reliable drainage, and the tankless water heater has been fully serviced for peak efficiency and long-term performance. Together, these services restore both everyday convenience and system reliability for the homeowner.
