Fix & Flow Plumbing was called to address a critical issue in the AC Hotel Atlanta/Buckhead/Phipps Plaza hot water system. The existing recirculating pump had suffered internal shaft bearing failure, causing a constant leak. Because the pump was beyond repair, a full replacement was the only solution.
Anthony Thompson carefully isolated the affected portion of the system, safely disconnecting and removing the failed pump. A new Bell & Gossett recirculating pumpwas supplied and installed to match the system’s exact specifications. All new gaskets and seals were fitted to ensure a reliable, leak-free connection, and the electrical supply was rewired to bring the pump online.
After installation, the system was re-pressurized, purged of air, and thoroughly tested.
The Result:The hot water recirculation system is now fully restored with a durable, high-performance pump. The building benefits from consistent hot water delivery, reduced risk of leaks, and improved system reliability protecting both the infrastructure and the comfort of occupants.
